Submersibles and Telepresence: New Frontiers in Ocean Exploration
Join the Ohio State SACNAS Chapter and ODI on Thursday, April 11th as we host National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) regional program manager, Catalina Martinez. Catalina will deliver a keynote lecture detailing her research at NOAA and scientific journey as a Latina in STEM at 11:00 am in the MBI Auditorium. Later at 4:00 pm also in the MBI Auditorium, we are also hosting a screening + discussion led by Catalina Martinez of the film "Can We Talk? Difficult Conversations with Underrepresented People of Color: Sense of Belonging and Obstacles to STEM Fields" by Dr. Kendall Moore. Please RSVP for these events at:go.osu.edu/SACNAS_Keynote_2019.
