This workshop aims to assist researchers at any stage of their career with the challenge of developing strong broader impacts (BI) plans and conveying scientific research to the public. During this 4 hour session, the workshop conveners will share a number of tools and resources developed to assist researchers with generating robust Broader Impacts.
Workshop participants will leave with new ideas, a draft BI product, and a network of potential collaborators for improving future BI efforts.
Need help with attending the workshop? A limited number of $500 travel honorariums will be awarded with additional support available to create cartoon puzzles featuring your research. Geoscientists and polar researchers are especially encouraged to apply.
