The Ice Core Paleoclimate Research Group (ICPRG) at the Byrd Center, under the direction of Lonnie Thompson and Ellen Mosley-Thompson, maintains all the facilities necessary for ice core sample storage, preparation and analysis, as well as for ice core drill design and fabrication.
