Climate Ambassadors
Students interested in engaging with Byrd Center researchers and the general public during various outreach opportunities are invited to register as a Climate Ambassador. Climate Ambassadors represent the Byrd Center when working with school groups or during programs such as internal events, climate negotiation simulations, public tours, and more. Students must commit to 4-5 programs each semester. This is an unpaid position.

If there are no open positions, students who are interested in working at the Byrd Center are still invited to email a resume, cover letter, and 3 references to the Education and Outreach team. Students will be contacted when a position becomes available and will be encouraged to apply.
Common Responsibilities: Responsibilities include overseeing some day-to-day operations, engaging with climate data, science and outreach, facilitating events and assisting with research projects. Students typically commit to 10-15 hours per week and are majoring in a relevant field of study. This is a paid position.
