The Water Management Association of Ohio is hosting a Water Luncheon Webinar, with a focus on the engagement of citizen and community science. Citizen science will help the WPA expand their data, allowing them to effectively address pressing water quality challenges in the Lake Erie Basin. By improving the collection of citizen science, the use of this data for research, decision-making and management can be optimized on a regional level.
During this webinar Max Herzog, program manager of the Cleveland Water Alliance, will discuss the development of a set of standards for citizen science collection. These standards will strengthen a regional network of citizen science, driving collective impact for the common goal of clean and accessible water.
