Join us for a special workshop to learn about the climate solution simulation, En-ROADS.
En-ROADS is a policy simulation model that provides policymakers, educators, businesses, the media, and the public with the ability to explore the likely consequences of energy, economic growth, land use, and other policies and uncertainties, with the goal of improving their understanding. The simulation, developed by Climate Interactive, Ventana Systems, and MIT Sloan, is freely available online, offers an intuitive interface, has been carefully grounded in the best available science, and has been calibrated against a wide range of existing integrated assessment, climate and energy models. Join this workshop to learn about the En-ROADS model, how to incorporate it into your classroom, and how to become a trained En-ROADS climate ambassador. This workshop will be facilitated by Rebecca Niles who is a trained En-ROADS Climate Ambassador and Executive Director of the System Dynamics Society.
