2022-09-13 07:15:00 2022-09-13 09:30:00 The Environmental Professionals Network Breakfast- Advancing environmental justice in extreme heat and adapting through collaborative networks The Environmental Professionals Network (EPN), a service of the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) is hosting this breakfast event, designed for natural resource professionals, sustainability advocates, and researchers seeking to address environmental injustices by prioritizing green initiatives in marginalized communities and to enhance the inclusion of all persons in climate adaptation planning. As the central Ohio region advances further on a projected path of hotter days, impactful climate change adaptation planning will be strengthened with the inclusion of residents regardless of social standing or ethnic background.   This program features Dr. Mayra Rodríguez-González, Assistant Cooperative Extension Educator, University of Connecticut, along with doctoral students Harrison Fried and Kimberly Ordonez from SENR, The Ohio State University.
