Expedition 400 seeks to addressknowledge gaps in the evolutionand variability of the northernGreenland Ice Sheet by analyzingsedimentary archives of warmand cold periods of the last ~30million years. Six sites weredrilled during the recentexpedition to depths of 300–1000meters below seafloor along atransect crossing the northwestGreenland margin into BaffinBay.
