This will be the second virtual webinar of the month, hosted by Joey Durkin. Joey is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Byrd Center whose current work focuses on improving estimates of glacier mass change using satellite imagery, investigating the dynamics of fast flowing glaciers, and using seasonal to multi-annual glacier-induced solid Earth deformation to probe the mechanical properties of the Earth's interior. Join us at 3:45 PM for his talk, "Ice mass change and the elastic-viscous spectrum of the solid Earth's response".
