It is rare for a week to pass without welcoming an academic, guest, or alum to our weekly Byrd member Coffee Hour—and last week was no exception.
On April 4, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Kelly Huh, a Byrd Center alum and Professor Bryan Mark’s first Ph.D. student. Dr. Huh stopped by while accompanying her daughter to The Ohio State University's "Buckeye Bound" campus visit. Go Bucks!
Dr. Huh currently serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Geography and Anthropology at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. We enjoyed a wonderful visit with her, joined by faculty members and staff during Coffee Hour.
