Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

New collection from beneath the East Antarctic Ice Sheet

Happy holidays from the Polar Rock Repository! We received a present last week- six pallets of precious Antarctic rocks. This unique collection encompasses aspects of the Gondwana Assembly in the late Precambrian to understand Cenozoic glacial history in the Transantarctic Mountains. These rocks also provide valuable context for what lies beneath the mighty East Antarctic Ice Sheet. Thank you to Dr. John Goodge at the University of Minnesota Duluth for this generous donation!

Check back to see what is available as we catalog this collection!
