David H. Bromwich, professor of geography and scientist at the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for his distinguished contributions to the field of polar meteorology, particularly for developing improved mesoscale models of high latitude atmospheric circulation, moisture budget and precipitation variability. Election as a Fellow is an honor bestowed upon AAAS members by their peers.
