SES Assistant Professor Alex Michaud is a recipient of the 2026 Excellence in Undergraduate Research Mentoring Award. The annual honor is given by Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry in the Office of Academic Enrichment and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated success in mentoring undergraduates in research and creative inquiry.

Michaud was one of only three recipients recognized across the university. Senior Vice Provost Patrick Louchouarn presented the award at the annual undergraduate research awards event.
