On March 31, 2025, The Ohio State University, the nation's top producer of Fulbright U.S. Scholars, hosted a luncheon to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its Fulbright recipients. It was a wonderful gathering of academic minds, highlighting scholarly collaboration's global reach and impact. Among those honored was Dr. Md Rejaur Rahman, a Fulbright Foreign Scholar from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, currently visiting Ohio State's Department of Geography. Also recognized was Tal Shutkin, a Ph.D. candidate in Geography, a member of the Byrd Center's Glacier Environmental Change Group, and a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship.
