Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

McMurdo Science and Technical Projects Services (S and TPS) Implementation Manager

A native of Golden, Colorado and a graduate from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, I started in the USAP in 1992 as a General Assistant.  I deployed to McMurdo Station for three seasons and took a five year hiatus from the program until 2000.  I returned in 2000 as the IT Trainer and then moved into an Operation Scheduler position. In 2005 I took a three month break to cycle across America.  During that trip I accepted the Helicopter Operations Supervisor and thus began my career in directly supporting science in Antarctica.   I spent four years in Helicopter Operations and then moved into Fixed Wing Operations for five years.  I have been the McMurdo S and TPS Implementation Manager for five years.  Working in the USAP is always dynamic, exciting, and full of challenges and opportunities to problem solve!
