Join the Center for Latin American Studies for a virtual panel on Latin America Antarctic history and politics. The workshop aims to investigate, from a historical, political and legal perspective, several key issues relating to the period between the end of the Second World War and the signing of the Antarctic Treaty, with a particular focus on Argentina and Chile. The first session will feature presentations by established scholars, while the second will be dedicated to the ongoing research of young researchers. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please note that some of the talks might be in Spanish.
