Congratulations, Byrd Center's Principal Investigators and Professors in the Atmospheric Sciences program in the Department of Geography, at The Ohio State University,

Professor Steven Quiring has been named a 2026 The American Meteorological Society (AMS) Fellow for sustained contributions to atmospheric and hydrologic sciences. Professor Zhengyu Liu received the 2026 AMS Sverdrup Gold Medal for seminal advances in ocean–atmosphere–cryosphere interactions.
