Ohio State’s WestFest program is a Recipient of a 2022 University Outreach and Engagement Award
The Office of Outreach and Engagement announced their Spring 2022 award recipients and WestFest (aka, west campus science and sustainability festival) has been recognized with a High Impact Program Award.
WestFest was co-founded in 2017 in collaboration with elect community partners and other STEM units from across campus with a primary goal of providing public awareness about STEM research and other initiatives at Ohio State. During the pandemic the event was virtual, however, this year it will be back in person, hosted on the west campus quad in October 2022. Faculty and staff contribute to this public event hosting booths, giving tours, and providing public programming which improves the quality of OSU’s outreach efforts.
