In 2015, Forrest Schoessow led a crew of three on the Mississippi River Survey Expedition, canoeing ~2350 miles down the Mississippi River from its headwaters in Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico.
"I wanted to engage with our public lands and waterways, and to learn more about the Big Muddy's dynamic human and natural systems -- specifically how they coevolve over space and time."
For this TEDx talk, Forrest will be sharing some of what he learned during his three months on the mighty Mississippi.
