Congratulations to Jason Cervenec and Allison Chartrand, Recipients of the 2022 Lois M. Jones Award!

During the 4th Annual Byrd Center Symposium on Climate Change Research on October 21, 2022, Aaron Wilson announced the 2022 Lois M. Jones award recipients as Jason Cervenec and Allison Chartrand.

The Lois M. Jones Award for Science Access, Engagement, and Communication is presented to a member of the Byrd Center who has done significant work to advance causes in any scientific field, including but not limited to polar and climate research. Because of their qualifications and exceptional dedication to community service, the committee selected both finalists for this award. Dr. Wilson was last year's award recipient.
