Alex is a second-year undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences and a B.A. in Music.

As a part of the Polar Meteorology Group at Byrd, her current work includes evaluating long-term trends in the Antarctic via analysis and comparison of observational and model-generated data. Her emerging interests within the field include ocean-atmosphere interactions and global circulation systems.
