Time for Change Week 2024 is April 1-7! In collaboration with the Byrd Center and other partners, Time for Change (T4C), a student organization at The Ohio State University, is raising awareness for environmental stewardship and social responsibility, and engaging the Ohio State community in active participation.
The Byrd Center is offering a tour as part of its collaboration with T4C. Register for the tour on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes:
- Presentation on the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center.
- Description of the research conducted and brief history of the Center as an OSU institution.
- Tour of the facility, including a look at field equipment, the ice core freezer, and polar rock repository.
Meet in the Auditorium, Room 240, on the second floor of Scott Hall. You will need to enter Scott Hall through Door #2 (each door is labeled) on the east side of the building and ascend the steps near the statue of Admiral Byrd.
