Columbus Selected to Participate in NOAA's National Heat-Mapping Campaign
Columbus was selected as one of the participants in National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)'s heat-mapping campaign in an effort to study the heat island effect of urban communities compared to their neighboring areas. This study will help shed light on the effects of the changing climate on the city's Opportunity Neighborhoods.
