Congratulations Devin!
Devin Smith successfully defended her PhD dissertation earlier this month. The title of her dissertation was The biogeochemistry of Irish rivers in a changing world, Her committee members from the School of Earth Sciences included Berry Lyons, Thomas Darrah, and Frank Schwartz. She was advised by Professor Anne Carey (School of Earth Sciences). Devin plans to continue at Ohio State as a post-doctoral scholar, working with Dr. Carey and Dr. Lyons, principal investigator at the Byrd Center.
