Congratulations to Zhengyu Liu!

Professor Zhengyu Liu from the Department of Geography at The Ohio State University and a principal investigator at the Byrd Center has been selected as this year's recipient of the Bert Bolin Global Environmental Change Award and Lecture by the American Geophysical Union (AGU). Each year AGU sections recognize the outstanding work of the nominees within their fields by granting awards and hosting numerous lectures. The Bert Bolin Global Environmental Change Award and Lecture is named for the Swedish meteorologist who was the first chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) from 1988 to 1997.

 

Dr. Liu will give the Bert Bolin lecture at the AGU meeting, held December 12-15, 2022, in Chicago, IL.
