Michalea King wins 2nd AGU Outstanding Student Presentation Award

Michalea King, Earth Sciences/Byrd Center PhD. candidate, has won her 2nd consecutive Outstanding Student Presentation Award from the American Geophysical Union. This prestigious award is only granted to the top 5% of student participants at the conference, as judged by professional scientists in her field.
She received this award for her talk: "Greenland-wide Glacier Response to Runoff and Retreat: Evaluating Outlet Glacier Changes on Monthly to Multi-year Scales" that she presented at the AGU Fall Meeting in Washington DC last December.
