The Polar Archives Research award is a $5000.00 award available to a graduate students, faculty or independent scholars, with or without a current institutional affiliation. The applicant must live outside of the Columbus metropolitan area and more than 60 miles from the Ohio State University's main campus.

Applications are also available through the Ohio State University Archives for the Archives Research Award, a separate award that is available as well. Individuals can apply both awards.

The deadline for both award applications is Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
