Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Cathy  holds a B.A. and M.A. in English from Ohio State and served as a member of The Ohio State University Advancement staff for many years, stewarding University donors and alumni and their gifts across  several capital campaigns and  seven University administrations. Cathy most recently served as Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship at Otterbein University through their successful Where We Stand Matters $50 million fundraising campaign. She particularly enjoyed crafting stewardship impact reports and helping to develop fundraising proposals for both universities.

Cathy’s volunteer work has included literacy and reading programs, Canine Companions for Independence, and hospital and school visits with her certified therapy dog Maisy.

Cathy is happy to return home to Ohio State and is especially excited to join the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center family.
