Amanda Davey is associate director for the Global Water Institute managing operations, internal and external partnerships, and business development. As a seasoned international development professional, Ms. Davey is the project manager for a portfolio of projects at the nexus of food and water in Sub-Saharan Africa and Navajo Nation.

Before joining GWI, Amanda worked at the Ohio State School of Environment and Natural Resources managing USAID and National Science Foundation funded projects in Senegal where she helped establish an Agro-ecology degree program at  L'UniversitĂ© Gaston Berger. Previously she taught biology and natural science at Columbus State Community College, and is a founding member of Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed and the Agro-Shrub Alliance. Amanda holds an MS degree in Environmental Policy and Law, a BS degree in Sustainable Resource Management, and a BA in Political Science all from The Ohio State University.
