Time for Change Week: Atlas of a Changing Earth
In collaboration with Time 4 Change week, the Byrd Center is hosting a Planetarium showing of Atlas of a Changing Earth.
Join us for a fulldome experience of this 25-minute documentary, exploring how satellites and supercomputers have allowed us to simulate in great detail Earth's dynamic systems causing glacial melt in Greenland and Antarctica and rising sea levels that could threaten coastlines across the globe.
This viewing will be followed by a Q&A with Ian Howat and Karina Peggau, answering questions about satellite imagery and climate change.
This event is sold out!
